Never. L5X parsing happens entirely on your device. Your client's program logic stays on your phone. This is enforced in the app architecture — there is no code path that transmits L5X content to any server, under any tier.
Pro is for individual engineers — unlimited documentation, L5X intelligence, AI explanations. Team adds everything a commissioning crew needs: shared templates, multi-user run coordination, real-time progress across devices, and cloud sync. If you're coordinating a crew on a large project, you need Team.
Yes. Free and Pro are entirely offline. Notes, guides, L5X import, OCR search, voice notes — all local. Team tier queues changes locally and syncs when signal returns. The app was designed for use inside large industrial facilities where connectivity is unreliable.
L5X export from Studio 5000 (ControlLogix, CompactLogix). This covers the vast majority of modern Allen-Bradley PLC installations. Other vendor support (Siemens, Beckhoff, Schneider) is planned after Rockwell support is complete and validated.
